And now for my next impression - Carl Lewis.

And now for my next impression - Carl Lewis.

That's what Kofi Kamua-Adegbaa might have been thinking when he tried on a pair of sneakers at the Champs store on Washington Street Monday morning and allegedly bolted with them, leaving his old footwear behind.

Unfortunately the 23-year-old Mattapan resident, at 6 feet 3 inches, 275 pounds, is built more like Ted Washington than Carl Lewis. Kofi was chased down by a store manager and MBTA Officer Daniel Spas and arrested for larceny. He might want to consider making his getaway by car next time.

Yep, down here the cops refer to Nike's as "Felony Shoes".

Talking

DL...recently here in K.C. a perp thought he was stealing a carload of new sneakers. Problem was that they were all "right" shoes only. A shoe sales representative used them as samples only.

A few days later the catche of "right" shoes was reported as found again, along with their location. Would you believe that even more perps were stupid enough to steal part of those.
