Talking Kel-Tec SU-16B - in three colors!

Here's the press release on Kel-Tec's new restyled rifle - the SU-16B. A shorter "carbine" with improved sights. And available in three cool colors!
I like the Nato Green myself. The original SU-16 is still available too.

And for the Frankengun Files:
The new SU-17 in 7.62X39! Just for BRG3 . . .

I duno Big Dog. I kinda figured you would be on th waiting list for one of those yellow ones!

Seriously, they do look pretty cool. I like Kel-tec in general, I havn't tried this rifle Yet. I think I prefer the original longer version. Different people like differnt things though.

So who photoshopped the SU-17? It's a good job. Did you do that, BD?

Exclamation

Naw, BRG3 - I'm not that good yet! I found it elsewhere, where I stumbled onto the press release on the real ones.
Still, it's pretty neat - I like the heavier barrel, and 7.62X39 would be a good caliber for this gun. It looks very natural with the curved AK magazine, don't it?

I do sort of like the yellow one - but not enough to shell out the money for it.
I did get to handle an SU-16 at our last gunshow - not a bad piece. The fore end, with the built-in bipod, is more solid than I thought it would be.
The stock length is still a bit short, but useable. The sights are far better than the 9mm carbine.
The built-in scope rail is an excellent idea - this gun just screams for a good Red Dot sight.
