I have returned home after a week out of state. I have tried the absolute best bourbon I have ever drank. My girlfriends dad loves Gentleman Jack. And rightly so, the stuff has a well rounded taste, with a nice sweet aftertaste. But anyway while there checking out many stores I came across a bourbon I have never seen: Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage. It has the barreled and bottled date hand written on the back, not stamped. The top is sealed in a black rubber dip like Makers Mark, only without it running down the sides. The price is a little steep, being a a tad more than Gentleman Jack. I sprang out the cash for it and after getting home, I have to say it is the best bourbon I have ever tasted. Period. If you remotely like bourbon, you have to try this. There are so many stages of flavor and it leaves a silky texture in your mouth and lips afterward. Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage. It has won tons of awards. Well worth the money for a fine bourbon. Not your throw down casual bottle, but something to savor. |

| Vodka!
I'm a serious vodka drinker, maybe that's why I love AK-47's :assult: or is it the other way around?

eeessshh, vodka and Red Bull. Drank about 3 quarts of that stuff last Sunday night and that will be the last time. Not the last time for vodka, but the last time for the Red bull/vodka mix. Beer me, then ta-kill-ya me, then start all over again, and again, and again.......... You scotch drinkers won't have to worry about me depleting your supply, and you bourbon drinkers have nutt'n to fear also.
