I suggest you do some investigating about what is and is not made in china. I'll be willing to bet all of the following items that you own have parts made in china:
Your computer
Your car
Your house
Your TV

Now I recommend you get rid of them all immediately

Are these caddies being made in China for US consumption or maybe they are being made for an overseas market?

Did you know that Honda has a plant in KY(?) in which all US sold Hondas are produced? Same with the Beamers in SC.

Who cares? I can't afford a caddy and would not buy one if I could afford it. Gm has plants over in China already.

Caddie is useless to me -- why pay 30 grand more for a chevy with a body kit

Thumbs up

A caddy is out of my league, but I think the most car you can get for your buck is a Ford Crown Vic or a Mercury Grand Marque,V-8,rwd,a/c p/s p4waldb,full size trunk and spare, lots of power and all for usually around $20,000,give or take.

BRG try it first on a used ex police car -- that way you get it perfect with only a 1500 purchase verse a 30K purchase.

Exactly the plan. Plus features like limited slip differential and a lower differential ratio make it best suited for poor terrain and larger tires.

Old Mr. Wong had been having trouble seeing out of his left eye so he goes to see an eye doctor.

The Doctor checks Mr.Wong's eye out and says "Mr. Wong, you have a cataract"

Mr.Wong says "No, I drive a Honda"

Get it? Feel free to groan now.....

GM's been trying to crack the Chinese car market for years. To do that they have to build the cars there. Those cars are for the overseas market. The Crown vic's and big Merc's were made in Mexico but returned to the US reciently(5 or 6 years). The Honda plant is in Marysville Ohio, and there is an engine foundry over west of Columbus some-where. With the global market as it is and outsourcing being so prevelent no matter what you buy or where you buy it, it will have foreign parts on it. 65% of the parts on a Harley come from the Pacific rim. That's just how it is, like it or not.

I can't imagine Caddies being popular enough in other countries to warrant their cars being made overseas..I expect that the good ole US of A is their largest market
