I'm voting "for America." I would not be able to handle it if Kerry should win. :insane: Don't like some of Bush's policies but for the most part I'm with him. :right: Whatever voting lever I pull, or whatever square I darken is my choice and nobody else's. It's between me and the ballot box whom I vote for.

Now as far as being extremely liberal, or anything between that and extremely conservative...I suppose that would most accurately be described by someone other than myself. Personally, I don't like labels and I don't like to be cornered into anyone else's corner just to fit a label.

But...between you and me...I believe I'm conservative.

kerry will get the ammo first. and i mean that!!!! but i i'm sure them guy's didn't die just for me to go out and just vote for anyone just because i could vote that woul'd be kinda wronge . right? they died for me to have the right to have a choice of who to vote for and if i want to vote for them. not like iraq where suddam got all the votes. and you know they were told to vote for him.(see where i'm comin from) i can't see voting for bush just becasue he said he won't sign the old awb . but he never said he won't sighn a new one? i just don't care for either one of them righ now. but if i had to pick and was forced to vote i would pick kerry just becaues he was in vietnam. and i have respect in him for serving his country and not dodging the war where bush went into the national guard to get out of going into the war national gaurd to get out of it. bush has knowone who can place him at the albama guard place from what i heard . but kerry got film of him on partol boarts hueys/ and walkin around with his m16along with other soldiers on a LZ . but i ain't startin no war here and i ain't votin for niether one .

Kerry's service films are staged. And he threw back medals. And his face is on a Vietnamese Hall of Fame. Ask other Vietnam Vets what they think of Kerry. And ask Democrats like Zell Miller.

One more thing about Kerry's military carreer...
George HW Bush and Bob Dole both served in war. But none of them brag about what they did. I have yet to meet a Veteran who tells "war stories". Seldom will they even tell anything at all. The ones in my family who say the most are the ones who were in the navy, and all they talk about is technical ship talk. My great uncle, who served under Patton and liberated concentration camps, will barely utter a word.

I severely question the honor of a man who brags to a country about what he did in war, and certainly one who changes his story each time, and who turns around and throws other peoples' medals back in disgrace, while bragging about his own to this day.

tommy, although i dont agree with you on your views of bush,i must give you credit where it is due! you have just said one of the most intelligent things ive ever heard! if you dont like your choices dont vote! that shows character my friend! and i am of the train of thought that one or two people died for me to have the right to choose to vote if i wish.(my father taught me that and he earned his last purple heart at the chosin reservoir in 1950) blind straight party politics is one major thing that is wrong with our system. you would not believe the number of people here in my town that vote the party line without even taking the time to find out anything about their party's choices for office!

I still think it's better to vote for another candidate than to not vote. Check out the Libertarian, Constitution, and other parties that most likely won't get a candidate in the Oval Office. Among them is probably a candidate who deserves your vote if you're dissatisfied with the Dem and Rep candidates.

if i dont truely believe in a candidate i wont vote.maybe if the number at the poles goes down enough maybe the system would change? or maybe next time the two partys would give us some better choices. and i wont ever vote libertarian! i dont believe in their train of thought. this vote for anyone attitude is what is going to get some real loser elected. look at the millions of mtv watchers that are being led to the polls by the ears by that stations liberal bias disguised a banner of "rock the vote". id be willing to bet that half of them couldnt pick kerry out of a police line up. but that is just my opinion.

I agree, while it is your right to not vote, I think it would send a bigger message to both parties that you don't agree with them, by voting for another party. I did this in the 96 election, I voted for Perot, but I knew that the state that I was living in then was going to Dole. Besides there are other items that you should vote on. And if you cannot bring yourself to vote for anyone write in our own name for president.

Select "List All Candidates"

A few of interest:

Providential

Constitution

Health

I've always had a soft spot for the Constitution Party. It's what Ambassador Alan Keyes said he'd endorse if the Repubs get too liberal.

I have allways leaned republican because they have the least amount of bullchit.
the Demms have always had to paint pretty pictures, or scarey pictures to get common sense people to vote their way.
The great mistake in recient times was the H ross Perot on again off again Presidential run.
that was how Clinton got in to office.
and then he got re ellected because Bob Dole is as exciteing as watching paint dry
Then clinton discraced all of us and was impeached but not charged.
he stayed, making impeachment a worthless excercise.
then we elected GW Bush (just barely)
we got attacked and he did his duty we are at war right now
And he is doing his duty
and the democrats have gone and done it again
and made The worst possible choice for their Candidate
The most liberal, anti american senator in , well that there is.
and now they have become so convinced that they can sell anything To anybody that they believe they can get all of us to stop thinking and buy their spin and believe that Kerry is Not a phoney.
reguardless of how obvious it is that Kerry Is a Phoney,
quisling little guy that Will say and do anything to get elected.
If Kerry wins the muslims win
If kerry wins
Saddam will regain power.
We will withdraw from the middle east and the world will decend in to un ending low intensity war.
The forward march of western progress will stop
Pakistan will fall
and a new islamic Power will rise,
A nuclear power
A world power
A united Islamic states of the gulf of arabia?
something like that.
It can only be Bad.

well as for kerry chunking his metals . he earned them they were his !! he can do what he wants with them it was his loss why should that be any concern to any body else?

and to the other post no i ain't gonna just vote because then that would be like me goin vote for bush but i don't like him . nor do i like kerry. so why go vote someone into office that you don't like? seems to me the more you vote the more they think they are liked. and i don't like to mess with peoples heads like that.lol

I think that no matter who's president, an Arab World War is a question of when, not if.

On the medals Kerry tossed, they were not his - they belonged to other people. He tossed them and now brags about his own.

Please, Tommy, exercise your right to vote, even if it's someone who'd never win, even if it's a write-in. Votes for the Constitution party tell both parties that they're losing support because they're not upholding their own laws like they should. That would be my third party choice, please make your own and vote!
