Will they let you have a dog out there to keep you company?Something like a bad tempered pit bull with rabies, tends to keep the undesirables away.
Also give you time to get your shotgun out.

hey is it ilegal to posess some flash grenades just toss some of them out or make some . you could make it sound like ww3 without firing a shot and have them boys runnin. are them pest control bang crackers legal those whould be fun. how close can you park you'er car to you'er post????can you park right next to the guard shack??? if so pack the trunk man. i would also put in some hunting cloths and some other hunting stuff too . just to pass off the storry of having the guns and ammo in the trunk for hunting purposes. and keep the trunk popped at all times for easy access. good luck buddy and happy hunting.

Hey Joe. Get your CCW as soon as you can, but as far as personal protection goes, I would carry one anyways. And Shaun is wrong. If you get caught , its only a misdemeanor and would have no effect on you getting your CCW later. Logansdad that got his even though he had a misdemeanor Carrying concealed chaarge, well he would have gotten his CCW permit anyways, regardless if he had a lawyer or not..

Rave's advice is good. Might be worth checking into. All bases covered....but, jobs are pretty hard to get these days for us older folk....hope you don't need to use it! Maybe you have a good enough relationship with your boss and the incident could be over-looked...God forbid, you did have to deal with the vermin...but, on the bright side, those 12 won't have workman's comp claims for carrying your pine box! OOOOopppppssssss!!!!!!!!! Did I say that? It was the other voices, Joe! Really....

Sniper it depends on the state -- Ohio may look a a misdemeanor weapons offense as a negative since Joe would have to apply with a Sheriff.

You'll have more second chances to find jobs than trying to get a second chance at life. Protect your self at all costs.

Just put a sign up infront of your place that says, "Ill come to the gate as soon as i get done reloading or something." I dunno, I live in Kansas. The only big thing that happens here is a squirrel runs across the road and people try to run over it. Id say carry the gun, screw the boss, and live a happy life knowing that you have a gun by your side.
