I carry a K-Bar, I never attach anything to my belt, I like to be able to loose anything that looks like a weapon without unbuckling my belt, so I stick the end of my K-Bar scabbard under my belt from the bottom with the K-Bar handle down. In Vermont you can carry a gun or knife concealed, anything except brass knockles or switchblade is legal for us.

Leatherman SideClip. Small but comes in handy a lot. No need for a self-defense knife, that's what the sidearm is for.

Gerber EZ Out & a Ken Onion Kershaw "Chive"
Both have a belt/pocket clip. The Chive has assisted opening, kinda like a switch blade but a different kind of spring.

There is a Cold Steel "Mini Tac" (plain edge) around my neck and usually under my shirt.
On my belt can be found a Cold Steel "Tai Pan" dagger or a Cold Steel "SRK". I used to carry the now discontinued Cold Steel "Mini Gurkha Light Kukri" until it was stolen at a camping event. I'd give anything to replace that blade, but they are not to be found nowadays. Several companies list them, but don't have them in stock.
Yeah, I'm a knife nut. But I also carry a firearm. Some find it strange, but I carry a 4 5/8" barrel Ruger Vaquero .45 Colt, single action, as my personal defense weapon.
Flame me if ya want to for my choices in knives and guns, but they have served me well even in combat once.

UPDATE: Guess what I found!! Yep, a Cold Steel Mini Gurka Light Kukri - NEW IN BOX! The Tai Pan has been polished (not that it needed much) and retired to my wall display. I also "upgraded" to the Ruger "New" Vaquero with the smaller old style frame a grip. :lucky:
Still need to replace the Gerber though... I'm leaning towards another Cold Steel. Possibly their smaller Stockman model folder.

I usually carry two knives, a Boker Magnum, and a CRKT Wild Weasel. The Boker is a heavy duty auto that doesnt cost much and takes the construction sites and places I visit in stride. When I need a knife, it only takes one hand to slip it outta my pocket and push the button.
The CRKT Wild Weasel is one of Wes and Pat Crawfords better ideas, They use a 154CM premium steel in the blade, the handles are aluminum, and it is an assisted opener. It doesnt fit the definition of switchblade. However, you just begin to flik the thumb stud and when the blade opens about 20 degrees, the spring catches it and fliks it on open. I keep the Wild weasel in reserve for when I need a good sharp blade, as the Boker tends to get abused a lot and isnt always sharp. Again, it is a one handed knife.

I have at least either my spyder co or SOG pocket knife on me. When I go to work I have my winchester with me. Out in the field I have my kbar and most of the time my cleaning kit.

Ken Onion Kershaw assisted opening folder. Opens boxes with one hand, and takes the attention away from the glock 27 in my IWB holster!

Benchmade currently...I've lost or worn out several lesser ones over my life time.
A follow-on question would be "when did you start carrying a pocket knife?" I was in 4th or 5th grade I think and that was OK with everyone. Now days you'd get expelled for that. Just another sign of the times I think.
