I feel naked without one!

I always have a knife on me, usually two, except where security won't permit like courthouses airports etc....

Normally, my defense knife is a lockback blade with a thumb post for one handed easy opening, but I am looking for a new one due to the old one wearing out.

I am carrying another lock back type for self defense but do not like it much as it requires two hands to open....

Currently I also have an Old Timer twin bladed knife that was my dads. But the blades dont lock back so I only use it as a pocket knife for opening boxes, envelopes and the like. it does stay nice and sharp as it still has carbon steel blades that hold a good edge!

The serch for a new defense knife continues...

I carry a Kershaw Blackout as my defense knife and a Buck Odyssy for my workhorse. I love the assisted open feature on the Kershaw, since I can't carry my Boker Top Lock II. I also keep an old Ka-Bar USMC in the trunk for whatever it may be needed for.

Yup, at least one. And most of the time it's a legal one.

I usually carry either the exact same Swiss Army knife as Logansdad pictured or a small Kershaw. When I'm feeling nostalgic, I carry an ole Old Timer three blade pocket knife with bone handle.

I carry and old lockblade knife that has a leather pouch for it. It is rusty looking but deadly sharp. Works good. My other knives which i carry often are just some knives without name brands. I like to carry a 9 inch fixed blade in my bags when going to places and in my truck. Got a Winchester multi-tool knife that gets a little big to carry around but works great in all situations. Never know what you will need. And as usual, I lose them all the time. Either they fall out of the pocket or I leave them in a hay bale when cutting strings.

Exclamation

I view a pocketknife as an essential tool..like my wallet or keys..I literally don't go anywhere without them

Like you guys, I always have one with me unless an Airport is involved!

I am currently carrying a K-Bar Warthog folder. Great little (sorta) knife.

I've carried a knife everyday since I was 7, when my grandpa gave me my first one. Constant companion is a Kershaw Whirlwind sharp enough to gut a badguy with one good swipe.
