how about the right to vote? granted, it may be just vote scamming now but, at least we seem to be able to decide. Howeevr, the last vote we had here, all six voter taxes passed! I guess we love to pay taxes and feel guilty if we don't pay enough. what's enough? I don't know. We'll have to see if the next batch of taxes is approved....if that proves anything.

Kiran is hot. No doubt about that. Eye candy and news is a good combo any way you look at it.

Jerry...last night I watched the History Channel and they talked about the some of earliest "mapmakers" in history. It was a very interesting program. Each exploration added knowledge to previous knowledge...allowing scholars to make maps even more accurate. As most people know, it wasn't until Columbus's voyages that it was finally confirmed about the world being round. Several previous explorers had provided much information for him, but his voyages proved without a doubt what some had thought.

It was adventurous people like him who eventually became settlers in the U.S., along with Europeans, and eventually Asians, who had many other motives to head to the new world. That's why I said previously that the most valuable traits of Americans is their willingness to do new things and to do them in spite of all obstacles.
