I consider our Constitution, the bill of rights, and the second ammendment in particular, because it gives us the ability to protect the rest of it from governmental despots.
That fine old document and what it means has taken quite a beating lately, and the second ammendment is there only to give brave, armed men the ability to enforce the laws contained therein.
The second ammendment is useless if we have no brave armed men to enforce it,seems like folks like that are getting fewer and fewer.
History does tend to repeat itself, but history in not carved in stone,we can change it if we have the means and the will.
All we need is a "Ben Raines".

We have been and still are being sold out.
I'm with Logansdad on this. The "can do" attitude makes up for some other shortcomings. I think this attitude is a result of being the melting pot of so many races in our country's history. We've gained something from each of the many immigrants which reflects in this "can do" feeling.
With all due respect to the Constitution as a whole and the Bill of Rights as a whole, it all boils down to the Second Amendment. With the right to keep and bear arms, we can restore the rest of our rights.
me / you and everyone else. screw anything on paper. this countries most valueable tressure is the american people who live in it .because without us there would be no america. now can i get an AMEN on that one !!!!!when we go to war it's not to protect a peice of paper it's to protect us the people. when they attack us they kill us not paper .
