Lesson Learned

If there were more than just a tiny percentage of muslims in the world that hated the USA so bad and wanted us dead, you would not ahve made it back here to be typing this. You were surrounded in an area inhabited by millions of muslims, yet you were not completely engulfed and run over. Wonder why? oh yeah, its because there is really only a tiny fraction of the muslims that want us dead. I would say there is amuch larger percentage of Americans that want death to all muslims than the other way around.

I wonder how welcome a muslim military base would be in Kentucky...

Stick your head in the sand and live in your own little fantasy world if you want to; nobody is going to stop you. But reality is that over 1/5 of the world is muslim. There are hundreds of thousands of muslims living in the USA, and we're only been attacked here once. You do the math.

You know i just think its funny that when the pc goes around shouting ignorance, the 'ignorant' ones are the ones who have had most contact with the accused. You would think they would know more about the victoms seeing as how they have to live with them, but no the pc crowd knows how things go down because they saw a documentry on PBS about how great and persecuted the 'victoms' are. Sorry, I just ment to say we should enjoy Lenny....he's less of a butt than some others we have had to put up with. Sorry, again, I do not want to be considered PC! Besides, let's be fair....who amoung us has been unpopular, at times? Me and some others. I'm glad I was tolerated long enough to become established as a contributing, though some may argue, member. Let Lenny rant on. One day, he will have a "close encounter" with those he so rightously defends. Then, he will be our most ardent defender. I used to be in the middle concerning one group. Then, I went into the service and discovered how wrong I was about these people. I found that a "good" one was the exception, rather than the rule. Life experiance is like that. We fail to hear those around us who have "been there and done that." Sadly, we refuse to draw upon the wisdom of those around us, it seems, we must learn the hard way. When those savages are cutting off Lenny's head, I promise you, amoung other things, he will remember this thread.

Ruf your right lenny can have his opinion that's the great thing about this country we live in but Lenny has to remember the Muslims attacked us so now even the one;s that live here need to earn our trust again -- I recently read Michalle Malkins book Internment and I would have to say she may be right and we might consider putting all Muslims in an Interment camp for the time being to keep a close eye on them. The other option is to send them all to a place that will welcome them with open arms such as France

Muslims are the fastest growing religion in the world and the second largest. They're on track to be the most populous religion by around 2030. If they, on the whole, were so bloodthirsty and out for american blood, we would all be dead or fighting for our lives. Well guess what? Over 1 Billion muslims live peacefully (or at least as peacefully as Americans do) in this world, but I can see how you guys might miss that.

18: Israeli Shopping Mall Bombing, September 4, 1997: Three suicide bombers of HAMAS detonated bombs in the Ben Yehuda shopping mall in Jerusalem, killing eight persons, including the bombers, and wounding nearly 200 others. A dual U.S./Israeli citizen was among the dead, and 7 U.S. citizens were wounded.

19: Murder of U.S. Businessmen in Pakistan, November 12, 1997: Two unidentified gunmen shot to death four U.S. auditors from Union Texas Petroleum Corporation and their Pakistani driver after they drove away from the Sheraton Hotel in Karachi. The Islami Inqilabi Council, or Islamic Revolutionary Council, claimed responsibility in a call to the U.S. Consulate in Karachi. In a letter to Pakistani newspapers, the Aimal Khufia Action Committee also claimed responsibility.

20: U.S. Embassy Bombings in East Africa, August 7, 1998: A bomb exploded at the rear entrance of the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya, killing 12 U.S. citizens, 32 Foreign Service Nationals (FSNs), and 247 Kenyan citizens. Approximately 5,000 Kenyans, 6 U.S. citizens, and 13 FSNs were injured. The U.S. Embassy building sustained extensive structural damage.

21: Almost simultaneously with 20 above, a bomb detonated outside the U.S. Embassy in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, killing 7 FSNs and 3 Tanzanian citizens, and injuring 1 U.S. citizen and 76 Tanzanians. The explosion caused major structural damage to the U.S. Embassy facility. The U.S. Government held Usama Bin Laden responsible.

22: Attack on U.S.S. Cole, October 12, 2000: In Aden, Yemen, a small dingy carrying explosives rammed the destroyer U.S.S. Cole, killing 17 sailors and injuring 39 others. Supporters of Usama Bin Laden were suspected.

23: Manila Bombing, December 30, 2000: A bomb exploded in a plaza across the street from the U.S. Embassy in Manila, injuring nine persons. The Moro Islamic Liberation Front was likely responsible.

24: Terrorist Attacks on U.S. Homeland, September 11, 2001: Two hijacked airliners crashed into the twin towers of the World Trade Center. Soon thereafter, the Pentagon was struck by a third hijacked plane. A fourth hijacked plane, suspected to be bound for a high-profile target in Washington, crashed into a field in southern Pennsylvania. The attacks killed 3,025 U.S. citizens and other nationals. 25: Ambush on the West Bank, January 15, 2002: Palestinian militants fired on a vehicle in Beit Sahur, killing one passenger and wounding the other. The dead passenger claimed U.S. and Israeli citizenship. The al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Battalion claimed responsibility.

26: Drive-By Shooting at a U.S. Consulate, January 22, 2002: Armed militants on motorcycles fired on the U.S. Consulate in Calcutta, India, killing 5 Indian security personnel and wounding 13 others. The Harakat ul-Jihad-I-Islami and the Asif Raza Commandoes claimed responsibility. Indian police later killed two suspects, one of whom confessed to belonging to Lashkar-e-Tayyiba as he died.

27: Kidnapping of Daniel Pearl, January 23, 2002: Armed militants kidnapped Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in Karachi, Pakistan. Pakistani authorities received a videotape on February 20 depicting Pearl’s murder. His grave was found near Karachi on May 16. Pakistani authorities arrested four suspects.

28: Suicide Bombing in the West Bank, February 16, 2002: A suicide bombing in an outdoor food court in Karmei Shomron killed 4 persons and wounded 27. Two of the dead and two of the wounded were U.S. citizens. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) claimed responsibility.

Shaun: Thanks for the welcome. And yes, Lenny should try one of those suppositories. I guess there are people who just can't understand that we are at war with an ideology of hate. Not all, but a significant number of Muslims despise the US, and they have to be treated as enemies….you don’t win a war by celebrating diversit, especially when the enemy wants uniformity….Muslim uniformity. Are there good Muslims? Yeah....but many of those "good Muslims" remain silent. For example, there are some "good Muslims" in Iraq, who aren't terrorists themselves, but know where terrorists are hiding and, despite being "good Muslims," don't bother telling US Forces where the terrorists are. That makes those “good Muslims” enemies of the US. Lenny just needs to understand that you have to break a few eggs in order to bake a cake. And Lenny, the reason we don't see more Islamic attacks is not due to the peaceful nature of the Muslim religion, but, by in large, because the Islamic world is stuck in the 15th century.
