mmmmmmmmmmm numa-nums :right:

the brains, didja eat the brains???
couple years a go Kentuck was telling folks don't eat the brains because of a "madcow" type of disease the squirells have.
some kind of local delicacy, would take a bunch to cover a cracker i betcha

Dark spots are char-broil from the grill. This squirrell too a load of 1 1/8 oz 5's from a 16 ga full choke at about 35 yards. he had 4 or so in the back and was bleeding from the head.

No brains eating going on here. I twist thier little heads off and throw them out with the rest of the cape.

When we were kids we'd put the tails on our bicycles

Was inspired by the first time you posted taht pic.

My 4yr old son helped me clean it.

We spent hours fishing for puppies with the tail....

...and they're way overpopulated in my back yard. Come on over and take a few. Last year a neighbor used a live animal trap and caught over 30, he said. We have gray squirrels with a tinge of brown hair. Most aren't very big. There's a lot of pin oak trees in my neighborhood, and I have a shingles oak in my back yard...so we put up with them year round.

Unfortunately, my neighbors live too close for me to try taking them with my .177 pellet gun...even though my neighbor's teenage son killed one a couple of years ago in my back yard.

And...Jerry...I knew those dark spots were from charcoaling. I was just have some fun.

Good hunting and name one after Hussein when it hits the ground. Oh yeah...those tree deer would probably be hard to dress out...but they don't bleed much.

There's nothing like a .177 pellet implanted in the back of the skull to make them even more squirrelly. :right:
