El Cool :right:

I was looking at those when I got my 700 BDL. Can't buy a whole lot of guns, sure would be cool to hear about more people shooting them and slaying critters with them. Seems we have a lot of collectors and not many shooters?

I shoot every gun I own
well almost.
as far as gun related topics
I have to agree that we dont talk about guns that much in the gun room.
we have all become so familular with each other that we end up talking about day to day current events and political stuff and we ALL have to take turns arguing with Lenny2
We are the only thing that keeps our Little lenny2 from taking over the world.
and making us all have to eat rainbow stew...............

ok well maybe not ALL but some at least.

Heck, half the reason I log on here every day is to see NRAJoe's latest find, BRG3's latest idea, the continuing saga of Doglips fighting the killer storms, and the mutual commiserating over the latest antics of the rabid Antis.

Hey, the Guvernator shot down a couple antigun bills!

We do discuss guns, whenever one of us gets a new one, or needs info about them. We've had lots of new guys signing on recently, and been talking about guns with them.

I don't personally own any Browning rifles (just a Buckmark pistol), and don't particularly cotton to the Browning designs of late. My main interests are rimfires (not enough discussion there, I'll admit!) and the milsurps. My only .308's are both military designs (CETME and FR8). My only centerfire levergun is a Marlin .30-30. I find the Browning BLR rather ugly - nicely made, but still ugly. JMHO.

Yep, the .308 will take anything here in the Southeast, and be a good Homestead Defense Rifle too! I wouldn't wanna face an angry home-owner with a good .308 rifle!
You said it's kind of rough? Will you refinish it? I refinished my Marlin 336 stocks - good summer project, and it looks far nicer than before!

Just as an FYI, I don't knock High Points. They are great plinkers. But if we're going to argue, it might as well be about guns :full:

...and I own a new Sub Compact Springfield XD 9mm pistol as of about two months ago and like it real well. It's just about right for the concealed carry that I wanted. :right:
