NAACP keeps calling!

the naacp has called my elderlymother two or three times now (or someone claiming to be the naacp) anyway,they keep asking her to register to vote and asking her about her income,living arrangements etc. alot of personal information that she wont give out. and they even asked once who she was planning to vote for! well mom had enough and told the last chick that called that she has been a republican ever since she was 18 and that she wouldnt vote for kerry if he was running against donald duck! hahaha ya gotta love ur mom!. but i was wondering if anyone else has been bothered by these people?

I did have a young "African-American" woman call me one night, with similar questions. I let her know real quick I was a dedicated, card-carrying Republican, and no I would not vote for John Kerry or any Democrat thankyou.

Heven't heard back from them . . .

I told the lady that I thought they should sue themselves for calling african americans "Colored People". And told her how racist and unfair it was for the man to keep them down like that.....

I reciently had to take over my dad's finances after a phone crook talked him into giving up his checking acct. # over the phone. These scumbags are incredibly talented at getting older people to send them money. Once someone does send money, no matter how little, they sell the address and ph.# to other scammers. My dad gets over 50 of these scams a week in the mail. So I bought some bricks and I tape their SASE to the brick and mail it to them, they pay the postage. I would ship boxes of dog crap but don't want to get in trouble, just get even. If you have an older parent, grandparent, or favored relative check with them to see that they arn't being scammed.

how do people like that sleep at night? it really amazes me how some people can just do anything to screw old folks out of what little money they have and then act like they did nothing wrong at all.

Back in the good ol' days, a "snakeoil salesman" would be strung from a tall tree. Nowadays, they hide behind the telephone or E-mail systems, and you can't even track the barstages down. There's a couple out there, if I could find them, I'd take a Louieville Slugger to their knees.
These people have no conscience.
