I can't say enough good about the Steyr M40. But my primary reason is ergonomics and features. For good construction and function within its design, the Spring XD and HK USP from what I've read and seen are as good. Glock was the first to do it on a large scale, but I wouldn't say the best.

The CZ is nice. Ditch the adjustable sites for personal defense.
