Exclamation Why Kerry will Lose (or SHOULD lose)

Why Kerry will Lose (It’s not what you think)
Okay, I want to go on record with this before the election so I can rank with the great political pundits of our day (or at least have some bragging rights!). For the record, I’m writing this on October 13, just under three weeks to Election Day.

Kerry will lose on November 2.

I guess you could say that I have about a 50-50 chance of being right on that point. And if I am right, about half the pundits will have the same bragging rights as me.

But I’m going to go one step further and tell you WHY Kerry will lose. It has nothing to do with President Bush or the debates or Iraq or the economy or jobs. Well, all those things are indirectly related to the outcome. There is a deeper reason why Kerry will lose and it’s obvious if you will just take a moment and step back from the situation and look and see what’s happening.

Here it goes…

Kerry will lose because there is the equivalent of a “celebrity death match” going on in the Democratic party. This celebrity death match is between the old ruling family and the new family that wants to unseat them. The outcome of this election is less about Bush-Kerry than it is about Clinton-Kennedy.

That’s right. The old ruling family, the Kennedys, is desperately trying to re-establish itself as the greatest political family in Democratic (American?) history. It is threatened by two other families – the Bushes and the Clintons. The more ominous threat is the Clintons. The Clintons have dictated Democratic politics for more than a decade now, but a bigger threat looms. If Hillary were ever to be elected Prez, the Clintons would certainly usurp the Kennedys as the greatest polticial family in Dem history. It would be unprecedented – a husband and wife tag-team presidency!

Teddy Kennedy is the main reason why John Kerry is in the position he is in right now. Remember back one year ago? Kerry was lagging in fourth place in Iowa. His campaign was all but over. Money was drying up. He had no momentum. Then, he replaced his entire campaign leadership team with… you guessed it…. Teddy Kennedy cronies. Kennedy took over. Kennedy won Kerry the nomination. Kennedy was by Kerry’s side every step of the way through the primaries. And should Kerry win, the junior Senator from Mass would still be in the pocket of the senior senator from Mass. Kennedy would be Kerry's "daddy." Make no mistake about it. Kerry would owe everything to Kennedy.

It’s obvious to all by now that the Clintons aren’t exactly thrilled by the idea of Kerry delaying Hillary’s run for the Presidency in 08. Bill and Hill have said the right things, but there’s no effort to really defeat Bush from the Clintons. Let’s remember that Bill is the best political strategist of this era. He’s the man. He knows how to win elections. But he basically has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with W on Iraq – the big issue for Kerry.

So it’s a celebrity death match. It looks like Kerry in the ring, but there’s the Teddy, Bill, and Hill over in the corner, pulling hair, gouging eyes, knees to the groin. Whatever it takes. Bush vs. Kerry is really Bush vs. Clinton/Kennedy. And that’s why Kerry will lose.

I think it's deeper than just that. Hillary has guys within Kerry's campaign. I think they're making sure it looks like a real campaign but just keeping things just bad enough that they're sure he won't win.
