M1/Quiz easy

Hi all,
After giving you some hard questions I will make this one easy for all the new guys. Here we go.
What did the folowing things have to do with the M1 Garand Rifle.
Parkolac, Pentrate, Muriatie acid, Mineral oil, of light grade S.A.E. 20?

agreed :right: Clean it with Muriatic acid before starting. Finish with the oil.

Papa G and Oxford, you are correct Sirs
Ordnance was testing and working to come up with a good Parkerizing. These were some of chemicals used in the process. http://www.garandm1rifle.com
