Hey guys, I hav't been around for a while, my computer got struck by lightning, so I have been waiting on insurance to get me a new one, (yay!) And besides that I have been very boring, Deer season doen't start till may, and it's to hot to chase piggies. So Merry Cristmas everyone.

Mick...good to see you posting again. Thought of you earlier today when I saw news of killer sharks off the cost of Australia. Haven't been to the Gold Coast lately, have you. Glad you finally got a new computer. And hope you have a great Christmas. As I recall, you're in the hot season of the year while we're in just the opposite. Always have things backwards. So it's too hot for pig hunting? Just how hot is it? I'm looking at temps between 20 and 45 deg F. around my area (Kansas City, MO). Spent all day outside yesterday helping with construction of a house. Just dressed with several layers of clothing and drank a little more coffee. Got any new guns...or girlfriends? Again, have a merry Christmas and a happy new year. :right: Ox

Welcome back, Mick. Winter's just about arrived in the north country. Temp got down to -3 F overnight on Wednesday. We'll be waist-deep in snow soon enough. |

well it's averaging 35-40 deg C here for the last couple of weeks, almost to hot for anything really. Still got the same girl, dogs, horses and job. Did I tell you that I bought a .303 Jungle carbine, that's good fun, with the ghost ring peep sights and everything, only problem is that when using 180 grain remington bullets they drop to much and I can't figure out how to adjust the sights to compensate, at the moment I'm using FMJ military rounds with the tips filed off. But they are quite hard to get hold of.
