has anyone ever heard of a .338 ar-15?

It would be a wildcat chambering of 7.62x39mm or 223 (or perhaps they exist in both.) I have also seen the AR-10 rechambered for a 338 Whisper subsonic round.

well i have a friend that lives in ALASKA, and his father just bought an ISLAND and they are opening a hunting lodge on it. and sometimes they help hunt down rogue bears that have attacked people. like that one famous picture of the bear that ate that guy, well that was 30 minutes from the lodge that they have. and he told me that he had a .338 AR-15 and i had never heard of it, and he said that it'll knock your shoulder off.
