Hi all,
During the early testing of the Cal .30 Garand Rifle when did the order come down to stop all work and have the Rifle canceled at Springfield Armory??
I know this one might be a little hard, but try. It's the fun of trying to dig into your books and learn a little more of this Great weapon system.

IF you follow my stuff it shows how little Ordnance had to work with. There were many times even into producton that the M1 Garand might have been shut down.

14 Jan 1929 ordered all production on ".30 semi-automatic rifles based on the Garand design" be cancelled in favor of the .276 rifles.
