Lugers' are very nice as are Ruger .22 MKI- MKII
I guess I handle so many so much that i dont have noticible pointing problems with different pistols.
the luger and 1911a1 are more natural than say a t33 tokerev
but after a few minutes I seem to point my tokerev as naturally as my finger.

I like S&W K frame mod 10- mod 19 mod 66 type pistols
and strangely I have found I like the slim original grips
rather than the larger concalo alves grips.
the COLT-SAA-Vaquero "plowshare" grips are good too.

It's somewhat hard to decide, but here goes. I like the S & W 39, Sig220/226, and Walther P-38. However, my XD40 is getting there too.

Have you used the Xd with a Hogue Handal on it? I put one on my XD 40 and it feels like it was made to fit my hand

...Ohhh my god. I went to a gunshop the day before yesterday and they had this display with an exact replica of a 1911 (with the front half of it cut away) with a hogue grip on it. That has got to be THE nicest thing I've ever felt. I picked up the display piece, which must have weighed about 3 pounds, and swung it around like it was nothing. If I ever get a 1911, I'm getting a Hogue grip, no doubt. I'd easily pay $100 for that thing, on top of the $500-$600 for the 1911.

As for stock pistols... the P226 is a dream, and the Glock is pretty nice, too. The mini-glocks are great, too, but only if you're pulling the trigger guard back into your trigger hand with your other forefinger (I shoot like that anyway, so much more stable).
