Angry New Marine One Fleet Contract.....

just tee's me off Lockeed won the contract, Lockheed doesn't have any helicopter experience that i am aware off so they are importing airframe and engines and transmissions from Europe!!! with required modifications being done here. Sikorsky lost, they have built Marine One since the 50's. all they do are helicopters. this needs to be investigated, our European friends(?) that so willingly denounce us, yet gladly take our greenbacks to keep their people working. what a sorry state of affairs this is. i am totally fed up with this out sourcing !!!! the sorry bean counters in the DOD need a little therapy, say a 2X4 upside their pointy heads.

yeah it's quite annoying. Heard the Europeans were lobbying pretty heavily to bag the contract

Just lockhead after the almight buck -- if I recall Sikorsky is still hurting from what they have expended on the Comanche project that was canceled.
