Oh yes, I did show Jerry my latest toy...the 9mm Spgfld XD Sub Compact that I bought last year and posted about. Had to unlock it's case which I had carried just for the trip in the back under the canvas. Thought he might enjoy taking a look.
Now about our wives...my wife was asked to go with me but she teaches college classes every Wednesday evening. Gave me a great excuse to go alone and enjoy the beer even more...since she doesn't imbibe. :cheer:

Oh yeah, the XD was nice. Great trigger. Sweet gun. Very nice pistol Ox!
The antiques area was the only place I could get a pic to work, not my lucky night for working with pictures

I always pictured Oxford as Principal Skinner from the Simpsons, cause that was a previous Avatar.

Yes it finally worked out Apollyon67
Your welcome. This was a really cool deal getting to meet Oxford. I have always admired him here.
He was very excited to get the picture posted as he hasn't got his to work yet. When it initally didn't work, I thought "OH NO" I let Ox down
But all worked out good.

That's why I changed my avatar frequently. I didn't want anyone saying I looked like a 1911.

I was also taken by surprise, I have ox's picture in my head as Principle Skinner. Now someone is going to tell that Doglips isn't really an armed squirrel with large testicles.
