New Romanian Build

Here's my newest build. A Romanian AKM built on an OOW receiver. Handguards are Soviet from a PLO parts kit, buttstock was formerly a MAADI thumbhole stock, converted to regular. It is around an inch longer than standard AK stocks so it's very comfortable to shoot. Metal done in Gun Metal Blue Gunkote. Ran 120 rounds through her yesterday and she ran like a champ. No problems at all.

Joe, please feel free to post these in your web group. I've tried several times and can't seem to get it done!

It'll go up for sale Monday afternoon. She's gonna be sporting a Romanian side folder and a forward pointing pistol grip lower handguard that I refinished in a deep dark Russian red/brown. It'll start at $550 - $575. Are you in the market for a new rifle Joe? I have 2 more of these Romanians to build and 3 Bulgarian '74's that I can build.

Gotta give the people what they want!

It's called "value added" kinda a preppy term but relevant in this case. I'm going full steam ahead building. Just finnished another '74 and I'm half way through another. This one is on a Global 1.6mm receiver. It's parked and man did the Molyresin look good over the park.

I could whip one up special just for you Joe! I'd even throw in that Russian/MAADI stockset on it for you.
