| Senior Member ![]() | My son started his first day on his new job yesterday at the car wash. I thought, what a better way to celebrate than to bring my van in. They cleaned it and did a fine job. I threw a $10 in the tip jar. (they split the tips at the end of the shift) My son comes home, had a good first day. Tells me how they do the tips. He says "yeah dad, the guy in the nice Harley Edition Ford F-150 6 door, who was ahead of you, left us ten bucks" I didn't say any thing, just smiled

| Senior Member | my oldest girl jessy is babysitting for some extra cash. before school in the morning and after school as well. she is 16. we keep a limit on how much she babysits so to not interfere with schoolwork. she loves having a few extra dollars that are really hers. it'll be good for your boy to earn some money jerry. nice touch on not letting him in on the tip you left for him and his co-workers. he'll learn that a good job gets you rewards. |
