Give me a description of the Cobray Mac 10. Don't think I've seen one.

Having handled and shot both the full auto and the semi-auto versions - NO. It's functional and reliable, but is lacking in quality and ergonomics. The SA model often has trigger slap, making it uncomfortable to shoot. The accuracy is just so-so at best. There are far better pistol-caliber carbines out there.
I simply don't have any use for a "bullet hose", to quote the morons at HCI/VPC. Just my personal preference.
The Cobray makes the STEN look GOOD!

If it was FREE, or dirt cheap, yes.

if it was super cheap. A friend has one (I haven't asked him about CA legality, if it's registered or not - I haven't seen or touched it and don't need to know) - he said accuracy is poor but great for short range plinking fun (again, only if it's el cheapo).

If ya get one, you'll be buying ammo by the case!
Gotta admit - they are rather fun on full Rock&Roll. . .
Add a suppressor, and you have the ultimate Yard Varmint Exterminator!
Realistically, the value on all F/A's is rising. It's a better investment than any other. My buddy's MAC has increased in value by 50% in three years.

I think troylaplante described it best as, "The Ghettto Grease Gun." Don't need that gun or see any civilian use for it other than as a collectors item.

really I'd rather have a Walther P-38/P-1/P-4 for just a little bit more (like $60) :target: or for just a little more (around $60) a used Sig 229 .40
