I recently ran into this ammo and was wondering what the facts are about it. Is it corrosive or non-corrosive, how many grain is it, how accurate is it, how dirty does it fire, etc. Also, I've heard of these rounds being "over pressured." What kind of effects does that have on a rifle? Pretty much any detail you can come up with. Thanks.
If the headstamp is "CAVIM", it's good stuff! My CETME loves it. I have shot many 1"/100 yard groups with it. It seems no dirtier than any other milsurp, and probably is corrosive - most Berdan-primed ammo is. Just clean the gun well, and you'll have no problems. I haven't noticed it any 'hotter' than other milsurp ammo.
If I can find some more, I'll buy it.
