Still $2.09, if you find the right palces...otherwise, $2.11 for reg. Seems they all are in the conspiracy to hold the prices high. I say that because they all seem to have the same prices...even in counties with less tax on gas...ie. pinellis country has $.02 less tax per gallon but, the price is still the same, her or in hillburough. Thieves!

Got home tonight at 11 p.m. Wife said to head to the gas station because Quick Trip had already jumped from $2.039 to $2.159. So...being the obedient husband that I am  I headed out to a different station where the price was still $2.039.

So...I topped out my tank, only needed about 8 gallons, with Ethonal which is 89 octane and two cents cheaper than Unleaded Regular and took the 3 cent discount for buying at least one other item from their shelves, resulting in me paying $1.989.

They said they're jumping their price tomorrow morning, too, to $2.159, those bums.

Rag heads raised prices again...$2.19 yeah, sure....poor people just gettin' by. The gas giants are rapeing us. We need a riot! It's time to drag the gas honchos out of thier offices and gut them in the street! The price has gone up 12 cents in one week. There's a @$#%^& in the wood pile, I don't care what excuses you want to make.

If you distill ethanol for your own use do you need a license?

I am seriously thinking about doing this and with the automotive ability I have I could pull this off handsomly

JM, don't know if you need any permits or not. But, since alcohol burns, my guess is yes.

so whats ya gonna do....predictions of over a 100 clams for a barrel of crude by the end of the year. which would mean 4-5 bucks a gallon of gas.

do you see massive dissent from the people??? tremendous out rage from politicians??? 60 minutes looking into the situation??? nope. prepare now for the future shock, and be a head of the game.

Lightbulb

Much more of this crap, I'll have to clean and grease up the ol' bicycle - "The Green Monster"! I'm only ten miles from work - the old thirty pound Sears Mountain Bike would save lots of gas, and get me back in shape too. Even have showers at work, just across the hall - hmmm . . . might work . . .

Dang traffic's a killer though! Not many bike lanes out my way.

It does seem oddd. The media is usually beating the drum and revelling in our misfortune. Bush is silent.....no surprise...oil is his family's life blood. It stands to reason he'd love the prices to be even higher. Even my tiny little Kia car takes a twenty to fill now! But, outside of stealing a loaded fuel truck, which woulkd not help since fuel won't keep forever, how do you suggest we prepare? :gangster:
