When you repaint, use KILZ as a base coat. It works great. We used it on a lot of school jobs, in order to prevent mold in the bathrooms.

Jerry after you use the Bleach paint the area with Kiltz if it's an area you can paint.

If you are into the take-no-prisoners approach, you can get a special paint called Killz from Home Depot or Lowe's. They also sell some kind of powder that you get in a packet and mix into paint, 1 packet per gallon. You have to mix that into the Killz yourself, though; the stores won't do it. Be sure to wear a dust mask and gloves when you are mixing it in.

Between the two, it will kill any mold known to man. I treated my bathroom ceilings with this 5 years ago and haven't had any recurrence.
