I consider it taking advantage of someone if you somehow lie decieve or misrepresent yourself or the value of the item upon purchase. Ie... tell her its only worth a $100 when you know you can resale it for 500$.

As stated in the above post; she offered it for $100, fair and legal offer. However you probably did the right thing.
