non-existent apart from the mosins & enfields at Big 5. Mail-order/C&R is the only way for us here since state tax = 7.5% & state fees = $25. I once put 3 or 4 long guns on layaway at Big 5 and picked them up all together to avoid separate fees - all those moms buying speedos for their children kept covering their kids eyes. The local gun dealers here think they're pretty much junk (& treat them like that) - they want to sell the cool Ruger minis & such

Also forgot to mention that there is this local collectors organization which has shows once in a while - they try to offload their stuff which they think is made of gold onto unsuspecting buyers. Too bad they don't seem to sell much - probably fall asleep before the sale is complete j/k

For any locals, a store called Allegheny River Arsenal specializes in the whole spectrum of military and sporting arms. While I can't say I've been able to find anything there, I've found many many many special things, from pre-ban semis to exotic bolt guns to some simple, affordable hunting pieces to a 1941 Johnson.

almost non-existant unless the gunshow comes through up in topeka, they had a gunshow here in town back in january and it was a joke. Not enough vendors, not enough room - doubt if this town see's another unless it's at the downtown auditorium.

Except for the quarterly (or so) gunshows, we're limited to the occasional milsurp sitting overpriced (and too often Bubba'd) in the pawnshops. It's dismal.
Makes the occasional hiccup with Century or SOG seem very minor.

I honestly don't know. I moved from Fayetteville, NC where I could get any and everything I ever wanted.

Not a whole lot of shops around here that I am aware of. Haven't had a lot of time to look around. Did find one army surplus that sold pistols, had some decent prices on the 1911 clones.

Unfortunately, Cabela's is on the other side of the MO state line in KS for me. They have a lot of milsurps but I don't like the hassle of trying to bring them back into MO. However...there's several gun dealers close-by here...but I haven't shopped in them for old military rifles yet...except for handguns.

There's a few mil/surp stores within 30 miles but they don't sell guns. or didn't last time I checked which has been awhile. A lot of pawn shops sell mil/surp guns. The rifles are usually reasonable sometimes on the cheap side (usually when I have no money) Pistols? Forget it, they're made of gold. We do get several gunshows a year that are close enough to get to and I have gotten a few good deals there. LOL! Went to one several years ago with 425.00. Walked around and looked at everything then went back to my fav's and tried to bargain on a few. narrowed it down to two a Colt 1911 (400) and a trap door Springfield marked at 500. The guy running the table with the sprgfld was out and his buddy couldn't bargain. So I waited awhile and just as I decided the H*** with it and was going for the Colt he came in And I asked him if he'd take 300 for it and he started in on how he'd had it for years and gave 500 for it. I dunno it just ticked me a lil bit after I'd waited so long and figuring he wasn't goin to come down anyway I said I don't care how long you've had it or what you gave for it I just wanna know will you take 300 for it? I got it! LOL!!!
