brass deflector?

alright guys i havent actually seen a brass deflector on one of these... but i am thinking about getting one... would i still be able to use the stripper clips?

IF you plan on using the brass deflector/scope mount designed for mounting full length optics on it, it definitely blocks the stripper clip feeding. I don't know about the deflector type that attaches to the front handguard.

Yup, the forward mount deflector blocks the clips, too.

I dunno, I got an alright piece of optic for my Yugo, but I cant really see the point of glass on an SKS anymore.
