Something different

We have talked about guns, knives, trucks , women, etc... So, what kind of music does everyone enjoy? I like just about anything, country and classic rock being my favorites. :guitar:

AC/DC, Rolling Stones, The Doors, Johny Cash, willie nelson, Chris ledoux.
And anything that sounds kinda like them.

Funny thing is I don't mind a bit of techno when I'm driving!
Ya know DOOF! DOOF!. One arm out the window and going as fast as I can.

Most of what I go for is symphonic. I have a sprinkling of favorites though among modern music, most of it Christian contemporary, but also like a couple specimens each of Nickleback and Evanescance.

This is goin to end up being a sticky. I've been on other forums when this came up and if there's one thing no one is going to agree on it's music.
Having said that. I like New country, Don't care much for that cryin in my beer, my wife left me and took the dog stuff. Rock rules from The Four Seasons to Lead Zeppelin. I also like big bands from the 30's and 40's

If you don't like the way I'm livin, you just leave this long haired country boy alone (Charlie Daniels)

Classic Country and Western (they aren't the same . . . ) and Golden Age Rock are my favorites, with special selections from most other genres.

I have utterly no use for cRAP!

The newer rock and 'country' don't impress me.

Oh Gosh - I've become my father . . .

You got that right - they say "jail records sell records"

Personally, I like hard rock & metal.

Metallica, Tool, AIC,...I like the heavier stuff :gangster: :guitar:. But then again, it takes all kinds.
I try not to limit myself to just the heavy kind, but I'm not big on rap-not at all

I actually have a pretty broad spectrum, I like a little bit of everything. I used to be into punk, but I kind of grew out of that stuff. Now I'm more into classic rock. Especially CCR.

Please don't think less of me....

Mostly, I listen to Insane Clown Posse, kinid of a rap group, they talk about killing and carnival rides and clown type stuff. hehehe

I also like OLD METALLICA (pre Newstead) OLD Suicidal tendencies, SLAYER, and the beach boys.

As for new stuff I like System of a Down, Shadows Fall, and the black dhalia murders.

I also sprinkle a little kids music and some lee greenwood in there. (my kids fall asleep to lee every night).

Rap has become that today - it didn't start out as that. It's unbearable to listen to anymore. Rugged, I don't know about ICP, but on the wacky side, I like Slipknot & perhaps Sepultura. And I like alternative once in a while. Surprised no one said Maiden

SORRY, since I'm officially part of the machine , I don't like rage.

plus, all it takes is a few guitar lessons to really make you hate bands with no talent. rage was one of those bands.

ICP is still crazy. I mostly like their anti-Eminem (or however it's spelt) stuff.

If there are two things I hate in this world it's gun grabs and eiminem. or wth ever

Well, I always preferred soft-rock, like Fleetwood Mac (Oh Gosh! Now I got something in common with Bubba Klinton! :insane: ), but I gotta admit to also liking Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper and I really dig Meatloaf!!
Even a little Devo every now&then, when the mood hits me.

Lately, I've developed a great love of the ladies that do the Celtic music, Enya, Loreena McKennit, etc.
