1911 METAL

A 4140 STEEL IS GOOD ENOUGH. WE DON`T REALLY NEED RAILROAD TRACKS FOR THE SLIDE AND FRAME. WHAT WE MAY NEED THOUGH IS A GOOD QUALITY BARREL BECAUSE THAT`S WHERE THE HEAVY WEAR AND TEAR IS.
IF WE CAN HAVE A CHROME LINED OR STAINLESS OR CHROMEMOLY BARREL IT SHOULD SPELL THE HIGH QUALITY OF YOUR UNIT.

No need to shout, JR. RR tracks is just what Norinco made them with, who knows why. Maybe that's just what was available. We're talking about China, remember.

I have an RIA 1911A1 and think they are a well made gun that goes bang every time. At $389 they are a smokin' deal. Also, I have emailed armscor with a question and received a response within 24 hrs. On another site, many swear by the customer service and durability of the pistol. If you decide to buy one you won't go wrong.

I have owned my Norinco 1911 since 1992 and I must say I am quite pleased with it. Then I only paid $286 and some cents for it and I have gotten more than my money's worth. I've fired several, several rounds as well as different brands and it just spits out anything and everything ! I will have to say that I did replace the beaver tail because it was biting my hand and put bigger grips on it due to my large hands. Would I recommend anyone buying one !?. You dern tooting !!
