Clumsy car burglar arrested after locking himself in trunk

Clumsy car burglar arrested after locking himself in trunk

FRESNO, Calif. An attempt to steal some items inside a car didn't work out very well for this car burglar.
A security guard in Fresno called police when he heard a banging noise coming from the inside of a trunk early Sunday morning.

When authorities arrived, they expected to find a victim locked inside the trunk.

Instead they found what a spokesman for the Fresno County Sheriff's Department describes as -- quote -- "the dumbest criminal of the day."

Apparently the clumsy burglar popped the lock on the trunk, crawled inside and ransacked its contents.

But when he tried to heave himself out, he closed the trunk on top of him.

The suspect was taken to a hospital to be treated for cuts he suffered during his futile burglary attempt. He was then booked on two counts of theft.

Police did not release the name of the suspect.

Talking

NCA - "satirical humor", an interesting concept!

Often the Libs blow off such trivial things as car theft, vandalism, etc as simply "boys will be boys!"
Then they wonder why the young rapscallions end up in prison.

It goes back to home training. Teach them right when they are young, and they won't be locking themselves in car trunks later in life . . .

Taking pop's staition wagon out in a field and cutting doughnuts and/or chasing rabbits = "boys will be boys"
Breaking and entering = criminal
Funny thing thing about the "just being kids" thing, it's okay when they know better, but put 'em on drugs when they are innocent.
