renaissance era english project

'lo all. im working on a renaissance time period english project. if any of you have good links or background info i could use it would be greatly appreciated. im after information on foods, famous people, events, clothing, and the like. im working to make a 20 minute tv show based on the home shopping network selling items like books of the time *like leviathan and the others* any ideas are greatly appreciated. well, im off to check for more info. thanks ox. the first one i already had been to, but the 2nd one was new. found lots of sites yesterday and today, but most were about town renaissance festivals and food/drink that isnt legal, let alone usable in school. mostly drugs booze type foods. apparently pizza came up around then so i can use it for the food, but still checking for clothes i could come across, or something similar. should take a bit of work and whatnot, but so far i think it sounds fun.. im going to be selling thinks like the ax that loped off the king's head.. imma split a mellon to prove its as sharp as the day it was used *behold the almighty fire ax

* we were going to do a show on Distraction where ya ask questions.. but itd be like modern times asking about back then and that isnt what we are supposed to do unfortunately... wouldve loved to destroy some prizes

have a junk laptop that wouldve have been really fun destroying in ways of the time... pressing, stretching, ax'd.. aw well.
