I have to agree with MAX7.62 in regards to Glocks. I have not seen a plastic gun that I would own, yet, and have no intention of really looking into it, when the good old fashioned Steel, stainless steel, and titanium ones work so well. I saw a Motorcycle Officer a few days ago, with his 1911A1 (cocked and locked). I asked how he got permission to use the 1911A1, when all of the rest of the City LEO's had to use Glocks. He said that he was persistant and after one of the other Motorcycle officers dropped his Glock while riding (it fired, then self destructed, on impact with the road surface), and it popped his front tire, putting him on the ground really fast. He said they gave him, and the rest of the LEO's permission to carry the 1911A1 within the hour. I said, "It sounds reasonable to me, as I have never liked plastic guns anyhow!" ` |

Anyone who knowingly alows another to touch a weapon before the weapons clearance proceedures have been implimented is an "IIIJUTTT!!! Then to allow a young person to do it without proper "ADULT SUPERVISION" needs a couple years remedial training watching the cross walks.
