German Luger

Does anybody still manufacture the German Luger Parabellums? Or did anybody ever make reproductions. I'd love to own one, but the asking price for an original is WAY TOO $$$$$. Also, I'd want one I could shoot without fear of it's age.

I heard somebody made a stainless version several years back. If your'e serious about one there are plenty to be had. Reasonably priced like mismatched, refinished shooters can be found in the Shotgun News. One of my favorite magazines..it lists wholesale prices so you have an idea of what your friendly neighborhood dealer paid for one.So you can get an idea of what kind of negotiation room you may have on a particular item...especially if it has worn out it's welcome on his shelves. I would expect to pay upwards of $450. Good luck...let us know how it goes.
