one in which the USA would have been attacked.

When we went after saddam it was for all the wrong reason's and they turned out to be lies. If ya ain't been attacked leave your fight'n men and women at home.

Last time we were attacked before the towers we lost our Pacific Fleet -- I am all for taking the first shot if the threat is recognized and valid. Think about it this way do you wait for the car jacker to shoot you before you put a round in his chest or do you shoot the minute the threat has shown itself. Hopefully you chose the latter and are not a victim

How can a war give undivided support?

a good war right now would be US vs Mexico.
They do more damage to us on a daily basis than al queda or saddam ever did.

BTW, it was RIGHT and GOOD to attack iraq. we just went about it in a bleeding heart panty waisted way.

iraq should have been carpet bombed stem to stern and then rebuilt.

---------

There are good reasons for invading iraq and toppling saddam, they are just difficult for most people to understand. Had to do with symbolism and logistics for the larger war on terror.

remember in ww2, australia was almost lost while her forces were elsewhere?

Same thing is happening in the US southwest. People that hate America and want to bring us down are here right now in the millions killing cops, de4stroying property, and spreading leprosy, tuberculosis, menengitis and funktificitis.

We are losing America by the second. Please bring our troops home and line the borders.

I love dubya, I only disagree with him on the medical cannibis issue and the immigration issue.

I wish he would tailor his policy specifically towards me.

Question

Iraq should have been bombed from stem to stern...if you gonna go to war,go towin, period.
Then rebuilt...why?
If someone screws with us enough to provoke a state of war I think they should be left sitting in a pile of rubble to ponder the error of their ways.

I think that it would be justified for America to send in troops, even if there was no direct danger to American interests, to prevent a government or other powerful organization from behaving with cruelty, regardless of the excuse offered by the tyrannical regime.
