For everyone that said yes it should be punishable I never mentioned Flag Burning. I mentioned Desecration as according to the rules describing Falg use and ettiquite. Desecration is: touching the ground; wearing upon bubba's t-shirt, a ripped torn or tattered flag displayed, a flag in the rain. All these are examples of desecration and thus should be punishable; according to popular census. |

Uh oh! We got burned on the "rules of ettiquette". I was thinking in terms of those wantonly destroying the flag and it's symbology. My bad. Technically, all those American Flag T-shirts and towels, bandanas, bikinis, and paintjobs on cars are to be considered 'desecration'. Hang 'em high!
