Camo for my AK

I ran accross a product called camoclad ( www.camoclad.com ) that you can camo military rifles with. They say it is waterproof and scratch proof. Has anyone ever heard of this stuff? Thanks for any advice.

Talking

I reckon nobody's used it. We're cheap SOBs. We use Camo spraypaint from Wally Mart. :right:

Welcome to G&G. We aren't usually this close-mouthed. Especially about AKs.

actually, all things considered- since the only people I can think of off hand who have used AK's for anything other than plinking recently have been using them in iraq- the best camo I can think of is some foreign car grills and building fronts/brick patterns.

eh, they have a pic of it on a Tippman A-5 paintball gun it looks like and ive seen that before. looked like decent enough stuff to me but im used to seeing it on the '98 custom. as for painting the ak those colors... thatd work, or go the color of sand... if your going car grill and that... chrome that beast :P b'sides, when you see the muzzle flash or hear it, im sure the camo doesnt help THAT much. camo anything is fine with me with my paintball guns were camo for when i play woodsball... the blue "chrome" like stuff its made of really stands out in the small patches of light

Why not use Duracoat and digital decals?

I just liked the look of leaves and sticks as opposed to the standard color schemes
