Not quite sure. What are the rules?

I think I'll celebrate my first Independance Day by taking a can of spraypaint to the metal silhoettes (make them redcoats) on the range, and revving them up with my Kentucky rifle. Sure to beat regular fireworks

That sounds like fun.
We're at my moms now. I know my wife is planning on ribs and chops on the grill with her secret recipe BBQ sauce. ( She won't even tell me what all's in it LOL!) but I don't know what we're having with them.

Wife's and my 4th will be spent putting together a meal at our VFW Post.

It's a commraderie thing for the ones that decide not to leave town or travel on the fourth (with the Cave Creek Complex wildfire burning towards town many did just that----decided to stick close to home to see what happens).

So, I think cooking for them is important.

More and more I am finding solice and peace with my aging commrades, LOL.

Thumbs up

We did some good range time, then went to Dad's place on Sunday. Had charcoal-grilled steaks and porkchops, corn on the cob and freedomfries. Some home-made peach cobbler to finish it.
Umm, umm good!
Took lots of left-overs home, and ate grilled barbecue chicken on the Fourth.
