Whatever 'we' shoot let's not forget to encourage (or insist) that all non-biodegradeable items we shoot be picked up as trash and packed out of open wilderness and public access areas with us.

There are far too many federal and state lands where people take all sorts of things and then never take them back out and soon they become unsightly dumping grounds.

I don't know about where every one else lives but here in Arizona the BLM and state lands department are on the verge of shuting down some areas because of the shooting and trashing of the areas. That would effect horseback riders, RVers, campers, and thelikes...not just irresponsible shooters.

I kinda like tomatoes, cantelopes, onions, etc. (I get them from a nearby farmer's market when the fuits and vegetables are getting mushy).

Not too long ago we had a local activity where we passed out 12 and 16 ounce plastic bottles of water.

Afterwards I collected several of the empties from the trash cans....took them and filled them with water and then froze them all.

When we went out back I took them out and they react nicely with high powered or heavy hitting rounds.
