I changed the target after it was brought to my attention that it does not print well. The one I have chose is a little better and I think will sight well for the open sites class. I hope this has not been a problem.

Labor Day is the first Monday in September, this year it falls on September 5, 2005.

P.S. The link worked just fine, this time.

Now we'll see if I can shoot with the big dogs . My Tikka's ready for class 3. For Class 3, are we allowed to shoot off of a bipod or sandbag, or are we shooting off-hand?

I had no problem with the first target, so I guess I don't know what the big deal was.

Tried doing this shoot today, Got to the range, they were having a pistol class on the rifle range poetion. Really don't blame them, it has the overhang. Went to the upper range it only goes out to 75 yards. I could have gotten the pistol taken care of. Thre were a couple of guys who just got thier Garands. I ended up letting daughter shoot her .22 Savage cub and helping the guys out with thier Garands. Went over sight adjustment and broke one down for them. It was rewarding using the info gained here to actually help someone face to face.

Anyway. I'll try it again, mabe during the week early morning.

Is the rest of the target scoreable with one outside the rings? The SKS was like a little kid fighting me every step of the way. Usually don't shoot too badly. I do normally use a bit bigger bull at 100 yards. Still it sucked! Should have taken the Yugo SKS or Garand for back up

one on the 5 ring
one on the 7 ring
one on the 8 ring
& one smack in the middle of the 9 just kissing the 10 ring.
Then, one in the lower right corner.

I shot 5 differnt targets and kept comming up with the same BS.

Scoped rifle and pistol came out acceptable at least.
