no, planes either glide of fall out of the sky.

choppers autorotate.

planes need a runway for an emergency landing, lest they plow into something with unsavoury results.

helos only need a clear patch of land, and are capable of making a gentle landing even after a catastrophic engine failure and "falling" from 500 meters.

also, how dare they leave out the AH1Z! HERESY I SAY!
