AR-15 Optic

I've got a Colt Sporter Target(Standard 20'' Lightweight barrel A2) and I want some sort of compact scope that I would mount on my carry handle.

I've seen the 4x22 AR-15 Scopes, but they're all cheap Chinese import crapola.

Any thing that you guys would suggest?

The leapers Chinese import crap can be better than you think. I believe that some of our servicemen use them.

But there are plenty of other options. You can buy mounts that attach to the carry handle and then use the scope of your choice.

If 4x is exactly what you want, you really can't beat the Leapers one. If you still want to keep looking, try www.cdnninvestments.com . Lots of great scopes and much much more.

There are some decent 3-9 compact scopes out there. Try CDNN, centerfiresystems.com is good too.

You might look into a 4 x 32 ACOG from Trijicon, but you'll pay around $700 - $750 for one though. You might be able to pick up a used one up at a gun show for around $450 or $500. Right now it would be nearly impossible to get a new one. They are standard issue for the Marine Corp now, so I would imagine that sales to the public have been put on hold.
