10/22 Magnum Bolt Pin

I've read a lot about bolt buffers for the 10/22 Magnum. I've owned and shot mine since 2000 with absolutely no problems. I'd like to get an idea how many of you with Magnums have/have not had problems.
Thanks, eljay

my magnum has been a big problem since the day I got it. Now it works except it sometimes doesn't fire everytime.

10/22 magnums can be tricky...but what ever you do, do not use a bolt buffer pin that does not come with a back support ( see http://cheapgunparts.com ) there are guys all over ebay selling "magnum Bolt Pins" that do not have a back support. Without it..steel or solid polyurethane, it will snap or shear off in a short time. This is because there is a small amount of room behind the magnum bolt pin that you don't find in the LR model.
