I filled my Hyundai Elantra on wednseday, it cost $53.25.. in the southern states it would have cost me 65 bucks. My old Chrysler would be costing me between 80 and a hundred bucks a week, gak! You can do the math on conversion rates and all, but it still stings!

Johnny OUCH! I thought 2.55 a gal was bad. Just went up here about 20 cents in the last week. Sad thing is all the top gasoline producers touted a profit so far this year of at least 40%. And they say they aren't gouging us. Uh right.

Be sure to note the conversion rate though.
I filled my Hyundai Elantra with $30 USD or so.

My converter says $41.10 USD for 50 litres bought. 82.2 US cents per litre that would be. I forget how many litres in a US gallon.

Less than 4 liters per US gallon. A liter is a little bit larger than a "quart", one quarter of a gallon. A "pint" is half of a quart.

US gallon = 3.78 litres, so: 3.78 x 82.2 US cents = 3.10 USD per US gallon. therefore, 13.27 US gallons would cost about 41 greenbacks.

*throws random objects at tober* lucky son of a... our prices went up since she posted or so... its actually 2.47 here and most of the rest of the state. sad part... even that seems cheap compared to the gas prices from up in canada a few years back... conversion rates are lame :/ so when do we reach the part of make saudi arabia and the rest glowing glass and drill for oil through that? radioactive gasoline might boost milage >.> its uh.. good for the economy?

Angry

Monday, gas was running $2.27/gallon here. Tuesday, it was up to $2.39! A twelve cent rise!!? That is truly highway robbery.

And the UberLeft have the unmitigated gall to claim we are in Iraq for the cheap oil! What the heck are they filling their SUV's with? I haven't seen any cheap gas in this nation yet.
