What I want

What I want is a 1894 Marlin in .454. I love my .44 but I want MORE POWER. I've never had any issues with it. I know that 45/70 or .444 or .450 may be better choise but I love these shor pistol carbines. I also lke the ability to use a scope (1.5 power), that I do not have with my 92 rossi.

Infortunately, I'm not sure if the 1894 has enough strength for the 454. Also, the length may be a tad too big for the 1894.

I'd like to see a carbine for 460 S&W, 454 Casull, and 45 Colt. I suspect it would have to be the Win 94 for length, or even the Marlin 1895 for length and strength.

I'd also love to see a leveraction in either .454 Casul, or .500 S&W, but my shoulder would hate me if I bought one.

My 92 is BRUTAL off the bench due to the narrow steel buttplate. Off hand its not bad if you wea a thick jacket. I think with a limb saver pad the 454 480 ect would not be TOOOOOO bad.

I guess you could get a 454 Rossi 92 and put a scout set up on it.

Cool

What I'd REALLY like to see is a nice little carbine--maybe like a cross between the Ruger 10-22 and the Mini 14 in 7.62 x 25!!

Now THAT would be awesome!! :uzi:
