I vote for the Springfield XD. They can go through every test that GLOCK puts theirs through. From what I have heard. And if I'm not mistaken, are actually outselling GLOCk.

I'd pick between plastic guns and metal framed guns. For metal framed, I'd get an Arcus Hi-Power copy, or from your list, a Beretta. For polymer, I'd only take a Glock if the price were extremely low, otherwise Springfield XD. That's from your list, of course. My choice would be the Steyr M9. If it had to be 9mm.

I seriously doubt that they are passing with flying colors and they are outselling Glock because they are cheaper..like Toyotas are cheaper than Mercedes Benzes

Thumbs up

Like Jerry said, I've got a Springfield XD Sub Compact in 9mm which I've personally shown to him while he was taking a break from Guard Duty several months ago. Bought it as a CCW tool. I've shot several rounds through it and like the way it feels and handles.

Glock all the way, if you are carrying for self defense.

Beretta 92 - carried one for years - own/shoot it still. Great, well made shooter.
